The political influence of the National Rifle Association (NRA) is in one case again in the spotlight in the wake of the mass shooting at the elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.

The shooting reignited the debate regarding gun control laws in the U.S. after a gunman killed nineteen children and two adults at the Robb Uncomplicated Schoolhouse on Tuesday.

Jemele Loma, a contributing writer for The Atlantic, tweeted in response to Romney: "Grief does not overwhelm the soul near equally much every bit $13M from the NRA overwhelms your bank account. The answer you seek is the money you lot continue to accept."
